Trauma
Trauma brings fragmentation to our lives, but particularly our experience of our past memories, as the meaning-making parts of the brain go off-line, and the construction of a coherent narrative—one with beginning, middle, and end—feels impossible. To be human is to wrestle with the impact of trauma and its devastating impact on our lives and the ability to construct coherent narrative in both an individual and collective sense. Out of this pain, I help people locate themselves in—and own more fully—their own particular story.
